Volunteers are asked to wear long pants and closed toed shoes and will be provided a Lamar University Alumni volunteer t-shirt. Volunteers will assist facilitating hands-on science experiments and demonstrations, face painting, and directing event flow. The activities are designed for children and adults to question the "magic" of science.

The Beaumont Children's Museum mission is to provide all area children and families with an interactive environment that opens a window to the world around them and encourages a lifelong sense of wonder and curiosity through creative hands-on programming.
