Except for wedding cakes, all food and beverages, including alcohol, must be catered by the campus food service provider, Chartwells. A meeting with the Director of Catering should be scheduled to plan weddings approximately three months before the event. A meeting should be scheduled for all other events approximately a month before the event.
Catering Fees are paid directly to Chartwells. A 50% deposit will be paid at the time the order is placed. The remaining balance is due three days prior to the event. A service fee will be added to all food and beverage totals, with the exception of cash bars.
Alcohol services follow the guidelines of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. Chartwells will ask to see identification of individuals who appear to be under the age of twenty-one. Chartwells also reserves the right to refuse service. A bartender will serve all alcoholic beverages. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.
