Directions to the University Reception Center Front Parking Lot

(Available weekends and after 4 p.m. weekdays)

From I-10/69 North: Take 69 South, Exit at Lamar University/MLK Parkway. Merge left onto MLK Parkway. Continue on MLK, merge right, and take the LU exit. At the first stop sign, turn left onto East Virginia. The parking lot entrance will be to your right at the curve in the street. Go around the circle and park in the lot directly in front of the Mary and John Gray Library.

From Downtown/MLK Parkway: Take MLK Parkway South. Exit Lamar University. At the second stop sign, turn right onto East Virginia. The parking lot entrance will be to your right at the curve in the street. Go around the circle and park in the lot directly in front of the Mary and John Gray Library.

From Mid-County/69 South: Take 69 North. Exit at Lamar University/MLK Parkway. Merge onto MLK Parkway, Continue on MLK, merge right, and take the LU exit. At the first stop sign, turn left onto East Virginia. The parking lot entrance will be to your right at the curve in the street. Go around the circle and park in the lot directly in front of the Mary and John Gray Library.

From I-10/69 North: Take 69 South, Exit at Highland Avenue. Turn left, under the overpass, onto Highland Avenue.  At the second red light, turn right onto East Virginia. Proceed through the traffic light and into campus. Turn left onto Redbird Lane, the last street on the left. Park behind the Mary and John Gray library.       

From Downtown/MLK Parkway: Take MLK Parkway South.  Exit Lamar University/MLK Parkway. At the first stop sign, turn right onto East Lavaca. At the first stop sign turn left onto University Drive. At the traffic light turn left onto East Virginia. Turn left onto Redbird Lane, the last street on the left. Park behind the Mary and John Gray library.  

From Mid-County/69 South: Take 69 North. Exit at Lamar University/MLK Parkway. Merge onto MLK Parkway. At the first traffic light turn left onto Florida Avenue. At the second stop sign turn right onto University Drive. At the traffic light, turn right onto East Virginia. Turn left onto Redbird Lane, the last street on the left. From Downtown/MLK Parkway:  Turn right onto Florida Avenue (Jim Gilligan Way).  Proceed through the stop sign at Rolfe Christopher Drive.  The John Gray Center is the first entrance on the right and is clearly marked.
