The Public Relations department supports the university through its work with the news media, by the development of quality publications, through its integrated marketing program and via the university’s web sites. Our philosophy is that the story of Lamar University is best understood when told through the lives of its people: faculty, staff, students and alumni.
The staff works to develop effective messages about the university, its activities and events. It employs a variety of mediums — from print to radio to television and the web — to reach audiences effectively.
